Blue Sound was contracted to perform multiple projects on several traditional Laurelhurst Tudors.  In one, new mahogany beams curve with the ceiling and enhance the original mahogany trim elsewhere.  The new stairwell provides a more gentle transition to the basement.  In the other, a new master bathroom shines with Brazillian cherry woodwork, marble flooring and onyx tile work.

A freshly vaulted ceiling takes advantage of the home's unique architecture and extends light through the transom.  A new leaded glass window and clawfooted tub embrace the period charm.  An all new stairwell to the basement boasts white oak flooring and custom newels.  New wood casement windows grace the original main stairwell that anchors the home.  Last, a 5,000 pound steel grate eases parking for the homeowner's electric car.
