Charming Details Live Large
The bones were there. The layout wasn't. We gutted this kitchen and rebuilt it around how a kitchen actually needs to work — traffic flow first, ample then the details that make the room.
Custom inset cabinetry, set by our crew, keeps every sight line clean and every inch of storage intentional. Herringbone tile moves the eye through the space and adds some pattern without becoming overbearing, while the plaster hood vent offers soft materiality. A waterfall quartz countertop and bridge-mount faucet give a considered mix of traditional and modern that is just right for this home.
Beyond, tucked in beside the dining room, we crafted a new guardrail and wainscot paneling to enrich the space with character. Light, bright with nothing extraneous and loads of added storage with cabinetry thoughtfully tucked in. Amazing what the right layout and a little craft can do.
