LAURELHURST WHOLE HOUSE REBUILD
WARMTH AND AUTHENTICITY
We took this Laurelhurst home down to the studs, reconfigured the entire layout, and built it back into a renewed existence complete with 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, and an open, yet comfortable floor plan for the living spaces. Thoughtful touches permeate the home, which was designed in tandem between architect and homeowner, with many of the details provided in sketch-up. We are particularly fond of the dark stained woodwork, which required a level of care and mastery uncommon in most homes built today.
One new tip specified by the homeowner, which we are apt to recommend: hardwood floor vents mounted prior to bathroom tile and stained to match. It is difficult to come up with seamless venting solutions for tiled surfaces, and we thought that one was brilliant!
