SOUTH LAKE UNION CONDO REMODEL
Seattle INdustrial swank
For Seattle's urban dwellers, the Pacific Northwest isn't just outside — it's a design language. This South Lake Union condo remodel, a collaboration with Michelle Dirkse Interior Design, speaks it fluently. Wood-clad ceilings and exposed beams bring the forest inside, grounding an industrial loft space with warmth and texture. Underfoot, artfully patterned tile adds rhythm and craft to the main living areas.
The kitchen is the centerpiece: custom walnut cabinetry with the rich grain and depth that only real wood delivers, a soapstone waterfall countertop that is simultaneously elemental and refined, and a blackened steel hood vent that anchors the space with quiet industrial authority.
In the living space, ample cabinetry, shelving, and lighting help the otherwise pared down space live comfortably.
The bathroom continues the story — sleek black tile with black fixtures, spa-caliber and perfectly calibrated for the aesthetic of someone who hikes on weekends and codes all week.
A Seattle condo remodel that doesn't apologize for loving where it lives.
